Actor and AI Activist Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Speak at 2025 Utah AI Summit
The 2025 Utah AI Summit (Summit), Utah's Pro-Human Leadership in the Age of AI, is excited to announce that Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the lineup of featured speakers. Gordon-Levitt will speak on December 2 at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City.
Gordon-Levitt is known for his notable roles in films such as Inception, 500 Days of Summer, Looper, and Snowdon. Beyond his work in entertainment, he is the founder of HITRECORD, an open online community designed specifically for creative collaboration. Critically, Gordon-Levitt is an outspoken advocate for ensuring that AI development adheres to basic safety standards, particularly those concerning children.
His addition significantly enhances the Summit’s goal of assembling a diverse group of experts and stakeholders to generate actionable insights and collaborations. The Summit is dedicated to showcasing how AI can be harnessed to serve people — empowering workers, strengthening communities, and driving responsible innovation, anchored in Utah’s Pro-Human Initiative.
